Horspath's Jordan Reid turned from hero to zero as his last-gasp own-goal handed Rover Cowley a 3-2 victory in the Oxfordshire Senior League.

Rover now trail Premier Division leaders Garsington by two points.

Ben Green gave Rover the lead with a tap-in, before Charlie Bough doubled their lead after the break.

However, Paul Flack clawed one back after James Keeble's shot was parried.

And they were level ten minutes from time, when Reid saw his shot squirm under Rover's keeper.

But Horspath’s hopes of salvaging a draw ended when Reid headed into his own net.

Although Chris Heritage clawed one back, Harrison’s second restored their two-goal lead, with Robbie Alexander wrapping it up with No 4. A hat-trick from Stuart Mole helped Freeland hammer Long Crendon 5-0.

Simon Calley and Tom Scr-oggs completed the rout.

A Toby Hone treble and doubles from Scott Fuller and Junior Howards saw Adderbury Res thrash Broughton & North Newington Res 7-2 away from home in Division 2.

Fuller headed the opener, before Hone’s shot deflected in off Broughton’s Jimmy Phillips for the second after Howard had seen his penalty saved.

Howards and Hone strikes saw Adderbury 5-0 up at the break.

Phillips powered home a header and Andy Cullen scored an overhead kick to reduce the arrears, but Howards netted his second and Hone wrapped up the rout with his third.
