OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE

Hot shot Ellanor Jones bagged a four-timer as Oxford Bluebirds defeated Wantage 7-3 in the Under 12 League.

Imogen Barry put Wantage ahead, but Blackbirds hit back with two Jones goals, the second set up by Anne Fromont.

Heidi-Mae Miles gave Oxford a 3-1 half-time lead, and although Levi Alder pulled one back, the hosts roared ahead through Miles, an own goal and two more from Jones.

Barry bagged a late third for Wantage.

Goals from Natalie Webb (2), Molly Bishop and Lizzie Monk saw Carterton to a 4-1 win over Tower Hill Vixens, Millie Harris replying.

Marston Saints Angels lost 5-0 to Swindon Town despite their opponents claiming to have played badly – Alice Telling (4) and Amy Jolliffe scoring the goals.

Under 15

A brace from Charlotte Franklin helped Oxford City beat Wychwood 4-1.

Lauren Smith and Caitlin Burton were also on target, Abi Currie replying.

Roberta Dix and Charley Hamilton netted in Tower Hill’s 2-0 win over Carterton.

Under 14

Katie Mullis and Georgea Winstone both notched doubles as North Leigh defeated Marston Saints Angels 4-2.

Rebecca Ritchie and Megan Westwood scored for Marston.

Mollie Avery grabbed all five goals as Oxford City overcame Didcot Casuals 5-0.

Under 13

Vicky Standen fired a double as Chinnor Red saw off Carterton 4-1 in the A League.

Hayley Cruickshank and an own goal completed Chinnor’s tally, with Anise Da Silva Martins replying.

Tower Hill Vixens lost 7-3 at home to Cholsey Bluebirds.

Their goals came from Jade Keenan-Naf, Jazzmin Alder and Suzy Halsey, but Bluebirds won thanks to Isabelle Collis’s four-timer and April England’s treble.

Olivia Gardner’s hat-trick helped Kidlington A to a 5-0 victory over Ducklington A, with Zoe Taylor and Hayley Clements also netting.

Didcot Casuals lost 3-1 to Highworth Town Juniors in the B League, with Brinliegh Gallagher replying to strikes from Jane Francis, Sharna Presley and Natalie Haines Kennington saw off Chinnor Blue 5-0, with Jessica Wilde and Paynton Laver bagging braces and Charlotte Chewings also on target.

Hannah Grieve and Alicia Perry netted as Marston Saints Angels defeated Chalgrove Cavaliers 2-1, Lucia Amico replying.

Under 11

Lucy Daniels and Sophie Evans were on target as Chinnor defeated Kidlington 2-1, Rachel Newman replying.

Summertown Stars lost 6-0 to Swindon Spitfires, Karolayne Alencar (3), Daniella Granato (2) and Charley Reynolds scoring their goals.

Didcot Casuals climbed to third after a 4-0 victory over Banbury United.

Jordan Harris hit a double, Zoe Adams and Lauren Talbot completing the scoring.

Under 10

Hat-tricks from Genevieve Miles, Sophie Riley and Rebecca Jenkins saw Carterton to a 10-1 win at Summertown, Sophie Stevens scoring No 10.

Strikes from Pheobe Warner, Steffi Fenwick and Reanna Evans fired Tower Hill Vixens to a 3-0 win over Wantage.

Benson United defeated Banbury United 4-0, with Megan Osbourne and Eleanor Seares both grabbing braces.

Eva Wallace scored all three goals for fourth-placed Kid-lington as they defeated Chinnor 3-0.
