DARTS: Shears cut Littlemore down with pairs doing the damage

Shears were given a good start when Preben Krabben defeated Bob Brown in the opening game.

The Section 1 side hit back and wins from Alan Eckart, Darryl Ingram and Peter Jones gave them a 3-1 lead.

Shears fought back to level at 3-3, courtesy of wins from Kevin Wilkins (180) and Wes Topley (180), but the Premier side powered through the pairs.

Premier Section leaders Marston RBL C consolidated their position with a 6-3 win over Bicester Football Club.

Quarry Gate, seeking their first win of the season, took a 2-0 lead when they visited Section 3 rivals Cricketers Arms, thanks to successes from Sean Pollard and Dave Cox.

Blackbird Bar, of Section 5, continued their fine form as they beat Kings Arms 7-2.

Section 6 leaders Nelson B made it six wins from seven games after a convincing 7-2 victory over the visiting Six Bells.
