Four members of the St Birinus School Club from Didcot recorded personal bests while representing Great Britain in an international match in Germany.
Eddie Chambers led the way in the competition at Lörrach with a brace of personal bests in the 17 years age section, posting 75kg in the snatch and 93kg in the clean and jerk.
In the same age group, Robert Green produced a snatch of 75kg and a personal best of 101kg in the clean and jerk.
Peter Dutton shone at 19 years, with a snatch of 98kg and a new personal best 126kg in the clean and jerk.
Josh Cox was the fourth St Birinus lifter to excel with a personal best of 69kg in the snatch and a clean and jerk of 88kg in the 15 years age group.
The quartet’s efforts saw Great Britain finish third behind hosts Germany and Austria.
