Aston Rowant believe they can go all the way as they prepare for Sunday’s last 16 clash at Miskin Manor, near Cardiff.

Rowant skipper Dave Ridgley has once again named a 14-man squad for the match, which will be narrowed down to 12 the previous evening.

All those who beat Somerset’s Ashcott & Shapwick in the last round are included plus Mark Walker, Tom Needham and Chris Davis.

Ridgley said: “After such a great win, we’re once again looking forward to our travels, this time to Wales.

“Confidence is high amongst the players and the belief we can win this competition has spread to all.

“But we know we have to improve in certain departments of our game and keep a good level in others, if we are to do so.

“We gained valuable experience in the national stages last time, and handled a pressure situation very well.

“The team have come a long way in a short time.”

Miskin Manor reached the quarter-finals in 1997 when they lost to eventual runners-up Shipton-under-Wychwood.

Aston Rowant: from Ridgley (capt), Jewell, Morgan, Watling, Plumridge, Eaton, Walker, Cooper, Needham, Penhale, Foster, Davis, Humphreys, Dutton.
