Premier side Original Swan eased to a 7-2 win against Section 1’s Cowley Workers Social Club in the Greene King Oxford & District Darts Association.

Jon Jukes got Swan off to a good start as he beat Des Slezak 3-0.

The visitors hit back with Wayland Honour winning 3-2 against Peter Rouse.

The hosts then took control through Tim Tricker, Terry Woods, Nick Cobb (180) and Tony Allday.

A 2-1 pairs win completed victory.

Railway Social Club A gained revenge for last week’s defeat when they beat College Oak A 5-4.

Butchers Arms strolled to a 6-3 success at North Oxford Conservative Club.

John Britnell won the opener for Butchers, only for Mick Richardson to level when he beat Jamie Burke.

Butchers hit back to lead 5-1 with victories from Ian Moss, Tony Buckingham, Pete Eagle and Mick Kearns.

The hosts won the pairs 2-1, but by then it was too late.

Kidlington Green Social Club B looked set for a comfortable win as they led 4-2 against visitors Chequers Inn, only for Chequers to recover and win 5-4.

Marsh Harrier battled back to see off Bullnose Morris A 6-3.

Trailing 3-0, victories from Tony Sawyer, Chris Kearney and Alan Hunter brought them level before a 3-0 pairs win completed a remarkable recovery.

In Section 4, Kings Arms got off to a flier against visitors Nuffield Bar A with successes from Herbie Hyde and Rebel Stratford.

Nuffield then hit back to lead 3-2 with wins from Barry Wells, Steve Clapp and Bill Farnsworth.

The home side levelled through Gerry McGrath, before a 3-0 pairs win saw Kings Arms take a 6-3 victory.

Section 10 leaders Prince of Wales made it six wins in a row, their latest success coming against Black Horse.

But they did it the hard way, fighting back from 2-1 down before winning 7-2.
