Woodstock Harriers' Paul Brackett competed in his 20th long distance race of the year when he clocked 3hrs 36mins 30secs in the New Forest Marathon.
So far in 2008, Brackett has run 15 marathons and five ultra marathons.
His next challenge is this weekend, when he runs in the London to Brighton Trail Race, which is a 57-mile run!
Jégou ran in the Cransley Hospice Half Marathon in Kettering, and was second overall over a tough and hilly course, clocking 1hr 18mins 01secs.
Jégou's time gave him first in the senior men's category.
He ran the first 10km in 31mins 16secs, before cycling two laps of Richmond Park (20km) in 35.56.
He ran the last 5km in 16.04 for a combined time of 1.25.09.
All clubs are invited to attend a representative to the meeting to discuss the future of Oxfordshire athletics.
