Banbury's hopes of finishing third in Sommers Home Counties Premier League Division 1 were dashed when they lost by eight wickets at home to High Wycombe on Saturday.
Led by Chris Smith's 69, Banbury made the most of a perfect pitch to rattle up 265-8 dec in 60.4 overs.
Wycombe chased all the way as centuries from Patrick Fallis and East Springer, who put on 187 for the second wicket, saw their side home with two balls to spare.
Banbury ended up in fifth.
