EDDIE Pepperell agonisingly missed out on making the cut in the Irish Open.
The Frilford Heath golfer was always struggling after a four-over-par opening round.
But after dropping a shot on today's second hole, Pepperell hit four birdies and looked like scraping through to the latter stages on one-over.
But he then bogeyed the par-four 18th and missed out by a shot.
