BRADLEY Smith will be aiming for a fourth successive points-scoring MotoGP finish when he races in Barcelona tomorrow.

The 27-year-old, from Forest Hill, near Oxford, who has lost his place on a Red Bull KTM factory bike for next year, has come home 14th at Mugello, Le Mans and Jerez in the last three races.

Smith stands 20th in the riders’ standings with seven points, while world championship leader Marc Marquez of Spain, has accrued 95, having won three of the season’s six races.

Parts of the Catalunya track have been resurfaced since last year’s race which Smith missed with a finger injury.
