CHINNOR'S head physio Lauren Cyster has died after battling cancer.
The National League 1 side announced the sad news earlier today.
A statement on the club's website described Cyster as the "beloved heart beat of our team" and she passed away last night after a "short and courageous battle with cancer".
It continues: "It is a devastating loss to the 1st XV and everyone at Chinnor RFC.
"At this sad time our thoughts and prayers are with Lauren, her parents Brenda and Gary, and all Lauren's family and friends.
"RIP beautiful Lozza!!"
Tributes have been paid by Chinnor players and Oxfordshire clubs on social media.
Henley Hawks tweeted: "So sorry to hear this. All our thoughts from everyone at Henley RFC is with Lauren's family and friends."
Chinnor's Sam Nicholls posted: "Devastated by this news. Lauren always supported me through the last few years at the club both on and off the pitch."
