WITNEY Swifts took over at the top of Division 1 as they crushed visitors Stonesfield by 135 runs.

There were three stand-out performances for Swifts with debutant Nigel Hume scoring 82 in Swifts’ 268-7, before Robert Godwin (5-25) and George Seacole (5-34) ripped through Stonesfield’s order to skittle them out for 133.

Swifts took over at the summit from Wolvercote, who fell to their first defeat, losing at home to Yarnton & Cowley by 52 runs.

Yarnton had been dismissed for 134 as Brian George took 3-9.

But Asif Shah (4-19) and Majid Khan (4-20) combined to dismiss the hosts for 82 in their reply.

Westcott produced a stunning run chase to beat Oxenford by nine wickets.

Andrew Dean top-scored with 75 in Oxenford’s 220-6, but an unbeaten century from Alimar Khan (101no) and 53 for Rehman Ullah, took Westcott to 221-1 for a crushing win.

James Mitchell claimed 5-39 as Marsh Gibbon enjoyed a four-wicket win over visitors Wootton & Boars Hill.

Wootton were all out for 138, Oliver Morton hitting 60. Stuart Leonard then struck 40 in Marsh’s reply, leading them to 139-6.

East & West Hendred eased to a seven-wicket win at Faringdon.

The hosts posted 212-8, Rob Owen scoring 84 and Cam Plant 77.

But 77 not out from Jack Mulford proved key as Hendred eased in at 213-3.

In Division 2, leaders Chipping Norton saw off Watlington by 51 runs.

Chippy set 196-8 as Dave Brassett top-scored with 49.

Jim McGeown then claimed 4-26 to help dismiss the visitors for 145.

A fine all-round display from Martin Hanscombe helped Cairns Fudge to a 52-run win at Wantage.

Tom Small (60), Paul Hammond (34) and Hanscombe (31) helped Fudge to 220 all out.

Barry Martin top-scored with 98 not out in Wantage’s 168 all out as Hanscombe claimed 5-22.

Aaran Hobley hit 85 for Hanborough as they ran out four-wicket winners at Tetsworth.

Chasing the visitors’ 179-9, Hobley’s knock saw Hanborough home at 180-6.

Brill marched on at the top of Division 3 with a 39-run win over hosts Dorchester.

Andy Wynd (66) led the way as Brill scored 159-9 in their 45 overs.

A tight fielding and bowling display then restricted Dorchester to 127-5 in their reply.

Bampton beat visitors Marcham by 39 runs, with Ben King playing a leading role.

King hit 45 in Bampton’s 169-8, then took 3-31 – alongside Ben Brown's 4-40 – to restrict the visitors to 130-8.

A fine knock of 63 for Jim Walton and 44 not out for Stuart Walton helped Broughton & North Newington to a four-wicket win over visitors Chadlington.

West Ilsley eased to a six-wicket win at Kidlington.

Andy Brown (4-27) and Wayne Lyford (3-32) helped to restrict the hosts to 131 all out, before Lyford struck 51 in West Ilsley’s 134-4.

Kilkenny saw off hosts Risinghurst by six wickets.

Chasing the home side’s 168-8, Kilkenny eased to 171-4, Darren Gordon hitting 50 not out.

A dominant Hook Norton thumped hosts Sunningwell by ten wickets to stay clear at the top of Division 4.

Jordan Glazier (5-18) and Richard Knight (4-18) ran through the Sunningwell order for just 77, before Dan White hit 47 not out as Hooky cruised in.

Combe defeated visitors Radley by 50 runs.

Josh Lenthal (52no) and Chris Moore (47) were fluent for Combe in their 204-4, before Mike Eeley took 5-45 as Radley were bowled out for 154.

Steventon’s Phil Armstrong took 6-24 to help his side to a six-wicket win at Ducklington.

Armstrong’s haul helped dismiss Ducklington for 182, Jacob Hughes scoring 66.

Mithun Sortur (60), Glen Willett (53no) and Armstrong (34) then took Steventon to 186-4.

Shrivenham beat visitors Deddington by four wickets.

Chasing Deddington’s 147-9, Manoj Perera’s 51 helped Shrivenham to 151-6.

Andy Oliver’s century was in vain as Kidlington 2nd lost by five wickets at East & West Hendred 2nd.

Oliver struck a wonderful 104 in Kidlington’s 181 all out, Miles Martin taking 6-27 for the hosts.

Hendred then reached 183-5 to secure victory as Ian Clewley scored 63 and Martin 48 not out.

Freeland brushed aside visitors Swinbrook by 124 runs.

There were contributions throughout for Freeland in their 225 all out, Jack Buckingham top-scoring with 44.

Andy Warren then took 3-34 as Swinbrook were dismissed for 101.

Wolvercote 2nd racked up a massive 339-8 in their 45 overs at Kennington to set up a 214-run win.

Nic Pinhol (70no), Darren Jones (69), Chris Potter (65) and Tohsif Manzoor (58) shone for Wolvercote, who then bowled their hosts out for 125, Sam Payne taking 4-12 and Neil Sadler 4-46.

Waheed Rehman’s 97 not out helped Yarnton & Cowley 2nd to a 106-run win over Tetsworth 2nd.

In Division 6, Witney Swifts 2nd won an exciting, but low-scoring match at Chesterton.

The hosts had been shot out for just 47 as Mark Horne (3-2) and Craig Horne (3-35) held sway.

Swifts lost six wickets en route to victory, Jimmy Appleton taking 5-14.

Chalgrove were skittled out for 57 as they lost by 58 runs at home to Dorchester 2nd.

A fine knock for Middleton Cheney 2nd’s Andy Cross helped his side to 214 all out and set up a 94-run win at Wolvercote 3rd, while Risinghurst 2nd edged out hosts Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd by three runs in a low-scoring affair.

In Division 7 North, Hook Norton 2nd emulated their first team with a ten-wicket win over Deddington 2nd to stay top.

William Ingham took 3-14 as hosts Deddington 2nd were all out for 52, and then Hooky eased to 58-0, hitting a six to win the game.

Oxenford 3rd beat hosts Stanton Harcourt 2nd by 60 runs.

Simon Thwaite hit 85 not out in Oxenford’s 194-6, before Bilal Hakeem claimed 4-15 in Stanton’s 134 all out.

A century for Anthony Liddell helped Stonesfield 2nd to a 97-run win at home to Charlbury 3rd.

Liddell scored exactly 100 in Stonesfield’s 221-5 before Charlbury fell for 124.

Westcott 2nd cruised to a 151-run win at home to Kidlington 3rd.

James Bateman was the star of the show, scoring 65 not out in Westcott’s 194-5 before taking 4-9 as Kidlington fell for just 43.

In Division 7 South, Watlington 2nd stayed top with a four-run win over visitors Faringdon 2nd.

Mark Taylor hit 46 in Watlington’s 168-9, and then took 3-31 as Faringdon were restricted to 164-7.

Elsewhere, Steventon 2nd edged past visitors Harwell International by one wicket, while Marcham 2nd beat Kennington 2nd by five wickets.
