NICO Hulkenberg is eyeing another double points finish for Renault this weekend.
The German finished eighth at the Monaco Grand Prix last month, two places ahead of his Enstone-based teammate Carlos Sainz.
Ahead of tomorrow’s race in Canada, Hulkenberg said: “Montreal has a really nice package – a good track, good city and good people.
“We want to build on last weekend, only slightly higher up the order!”
The Grove-based Williams team have endured a dismal campaign with just four points from the opening six races, but Lance Stroll is hoping for a change of luck in his home race.
“It’s the race I look forward to the most and I am excited to be going back home,” he said.
“There is a grandstand for my fans this year and that will be very special.
“You have to get close to the walls, it’s bumpy, technical and narrow in parts, but is a very exciting race.”
The Banbury-based Haas team are looking to improve on a frustrating time in Monaco, when they finished 13th and 15th.
