BRITISH Rail completed the double when beating Vikings A 427-373 in the final of the Aubrey Hughes Handicap Shield.
The Oxford & District League Division 1 champions conceded 127 points to their opponents at the Gladiators Club.
But Rail’s team of Darren Jones, Richard Taylor and Ian Mead were simply too good on the night.
Tom Bowden did his best to derail the opposition in beating Mead and taking a game off Taylor.
But Vikings were overhauled and ended the evening 54 points adrift.
