TERRY Gripe made the most of a huge handicap to beat Lewis Moss in the final of the Gentworks Oxford & District Billiards League’s Arthur Cook Cup.
Playing off plus 100, Gripe triumphed 200-180 against Moss (-10), who produced breaks of 33, 30 and 28 in vain.
In the semi-finals, Gripe defeated Phil Baker, off the same handicap, 200-178, while Moss edged past Tom Fletcher (+90) 200-194.
