Leaders Berinsfield Club fell to Vikings Club A, for whom Alan Oliver was in good form (12,820).
Pauline Withey (9,960) starred to help Oracle beat Division 1’s second-placed side Masons.
West Oxford Democrats Club lost out to Donnington Club as Dennis Atkins (9,150), Dave Tooke (9,040) and Ian Moquet (7,890) shone.
Meanwhile, Gladiators Club A drew 3-3 at home to Vikings Club B.
Keith Gardner (12,620, 7,000 break) was in good form for the hosts.
Division 2 leaders Headington Conservative Club beat Gladiators Club B 6-0, thanks to Roger Tomlin, Dave Gordon, Graham Mildenhall and Keith Hollis (6,770).
