OXFORD Brookes University and Oxford Town shared the honours in Oxford Sports Council’s third Triangular Sports Competition.
These two teams, along with Oxford University, competed in five sports – badminton, fencing, netball, squash and table tennis – at the Oxford Brookes Sports Hall.
The result depended on the final netball match, in which Oxford Town narrowly defeated Oxford University.
This brought them level with Brookes on two wins each.
A new set of Sports Council grants was promoted at the event, with £20,000 available to help with increasing participation and improving performance in sport in Oxford.
