KEVIN Broughton, with breaks of 34 and 39 won the final two frames to earn Abingdon Conservative B a 4-2 victory away to Littlemore RBL B in Division 3 of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League.
Broughton defeated Simon Painter, who had a break of 33 in a high-class contest.

l SIMON Aries had a superb break of 57, but still lost his match when playing for Fieldside away to New Club in the Gentworks Oxford & District Billiards League.
Aries, playing off -80, went down 200-103 to David White (+45), who had a break of 30.
New Club won the match 2-1, the visitors’ only success coming from Bob Chivers, who had a break of 49.
