MATT Williams believes Chinnor’s season will be heavily influence by their next handful of games.

The National League 2 South table-toppers face a tough run of fixtures, starting with a trip to Redruth tomorrow.

Their hosts boast an impressive home record, and Williams is under no illusions as to the task facing his side.

“We face a big five-game spell that I believe will dictate massively where we will finish,” the director of rugby said.

“This was the time we stuttered last season and we know we cannot have a repeat of that.”

He added: “Redruth are a proud team and always raise their game against us, especially on their own turf.

“They have not lost at home this year and we will have to be at the very top of our game to get a result there.

“But I am confident we will.”

Williams names the same back line that beat Wimbledon a fortnight ago, but makes five changes in the pack with Jack Gilding, Ollie Curry, Joe Green, George Oliver and Jack Ramshaw coming in.

Henley Hawks look to continue their impressive run when they travel to Canterbury.

After back-to-back victories against teams in the top half of the table, Hawks go into the game full of confidence.

An all-changed front row sees Brad Cook start at loose head prop, Tom Emery at hooker and George Primett at tighthead.

Matthew Tibbatts takes over from Marcus Rowe at No 8.

The backs are also re-shuffled, with centre Alan Awcock not available.

Liam O’Neill moves up full back to take his place, with Jack Robinson handed the No 15 shirt.

His place on the wing is taken by Sam Portland, who has recovered from injury.

Oxford Harlequins make four changes for their derby against Grove in South West 1 East.

Patrick Gifford (loose head), Tom Guthrie (flanker), Sam Watkinson (fly half) and James Stacey (centre) start.

Witney travel to Old Centalians, Bicester visit Salisbury and Banbury are away to Swindon.
