ABINGDON GC members are celebrating after Lexi-Mae Neal qualified to compete in December’s British Championships.

This follows her high finish in the British Challenge Cup.

After 12 months of hard work, an almost faultless competition saw her finish in 13th place out of a large field of 60, achieving a qualifying mark in the process.

She was one of only 15 gymnasts achieved the pass mark of 45, which gains her entry into the British Championships.

Meanwhile, Abingdon’s Tai Anderson and Oscar Hobden won gold medals in the Tom Wilson Invitational at Milton Keynes.

Anderson captured the level two title and took an abundance of apparatus medals, including claiming gold on high bar.

At level one, Hobden took bronze overall and gold on rings.
