Martin Green from Didcot secures gold in Spain
Martin Green, from Didcot, secured gold in Spain to become the European equipped bench press champion.
Competing in the 105kg weight class at La Manga, the 43-year-old bench-pressed a massive 250kg to secure top spot, against six other competitors.
Green lifted 255kg on his second lift, but the referees failed it as his head moved off he bench.
He narrowly missed his final lift of 262.5kg, but the 250kg was enough for gold.
