SKIPPER Katie Gatt scored a hat-trick as Witney Ladies ran riot, beating visitors Banbury 7-3 in South Clubs League Division 2.
Witney attacked from the start and soon took the lead, with Lucy Reading deflecting in a pass from Sunny Ricketts.
They host pressed on, winning three penalty corners in quick succession, all coolly dispatched by Gatt.
With Banbury reeling, Ricketts slotted home a pass from Hayley Dobson to make it 5-0.
After Dobson added the sixth from a breakaway, Banbury fought back with three well-taken goals of their own
Witney responded by completing the scoring with Ricketts’s second goal and their seventh.
Meanwhile, Oxford drew 1-1 away to Milton Keynes in Division 3 A.
The hosts opened the scoring, capitalising on a loose ball in the centre of the pitch to fire home.
That roused Oxford, who rallied to earn a draw thanks to a goal by Amy Litchfield from a short corner.
Oxford Hawks were unable able to hang on to an early lead as they lost 4-1 away to newly-promoted Cannock in the Investec Ladies Western Conference.
The visitors took the lead after 15 minutes, when Lucy Stewart finished off a superb move with a fine strike.
However, ten minutes later, Cannock levelled from a short corner, after the first strike had been blocked by Abi Flory.
From then on, Hawks struggled and Cannock took the lead just before half-time.
Cannock added a third just after half-time and completed the scoring ten minutes from time.
Wallingford produced a brilliant first-half display in beating Marlow 2nd 4-1 at home in Trysports Three Counties League Premier Division 1.
Charlotte Satchwell, Jemima Dashwood, Frankie Brown and Louise Conlon fired the hosts into a 4-0 lead at the break.
