ENGLAND’S rugby union squad were put through their paces at a special training camp in Oxford.

Head coach Eddie Jones and his players, who stayed at the Randolph Hotel, used the facilities at St Edward’s School as they prepared for the Autumn Internationals.

The 33-man squad used the same training pitches in March, and were so impressed that they returned just six months later.

It was an important get-together for Jones, who is building towards the clash with Argentina at Twickenham on November 11.

He said: “This camp in Oxford is a really positive opportunity for the group to come back together and sharpen our focus and preparation ahead of our first match against Argentina.

“This is our most important game this year and we want the players to come away from camp having trained well with a clear plan of how we want to play and win against the Pumas.”
