MATT Chapman endured a mixed weekend at Spa, which included a bout of food poisoning.
The Oxford teenager fell ill prior to the weekend, but still, along with teammate Jake Giddings, landed a top-ten finish in the first British GT4 Championship race – seventh in the Silver Class.
However, the Ginetta G55 GT4 duo were forced to pull out of the second race after two of five wheel stubs where found to be missing.
Chapman said: “Unfortunately, the food poisoning before the weekend did hamper things at the start.”
