HEADINGTON produced a stunning display at the National IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) finals at Crawley.
Competing against 200 schools from across the county, Headington came third overall after a number of superb performances.
Pearl Sophastienphong won gold in the under 10 25m backstroke, setting a school record of 17.1secs.
Ellen Bagley gained a bronze in the under 11 50m breaststroke, also setting a record with 38.42.
Other notable individual successes included Juliet Anthony’s fifth place in the under 10 freestyle, with a personal best of 15.42.
Lily Brabbin also claimed fifth, her time of 31.18 another best in the under 11 freestyle.
To cap a sparkling day for the school, their under 10 team of Sophastienphong, Anthony, Tilly Boyns and Venetia Mahony came top of their age group, while the under 11 quartet of Brabbin, Bagley, Maisie Kavanagh and Lily Martin were third.
