KENNINGTON Athletic moved to the brink of the Oxford Mail Youth Under 14 A League title with a 5-1 win over Faringdon Town, writes PAUL LYON.

Tino Njenje (2), Sebastian Pita, Fabian Crane and Matthew Davies were on target, with Chad Smith scoring Faringdon’s reply.

North Leigh kept up the pressure with a 5-1 victory over Abingdon Youth.

However, they remain two points behind Kennington, having played a game extra.

Joe Sydenham, Alfie Dunn, Gavin Dykes, Dom Bagsy and Marco Frielas scored, with Sam Gillett replying.

Alfie Cummings hit the only goal as Crowmarsh Youth beat St Edmunds 1-0 in the B League.

Morgan Hunt struck a four-timer and Lloyd Owen a hat-trick as Didcot Town Youth White beat Grove Challengers White 7-0 in the C League.

Riley Saunders netted twice as Didcot Casuals snatched the runners-up spot with a 3-2 win over Tower Hill.

Tom Miller bagged a brace for Tower, but an own goal gave Casuals a 3-2 victory.

Headington Youth finished as D League runners-up after beating champions Pangbourne Youth.

Goals from Alex Flynn, Neo Engerer and Claydon Dalton secured a 3-2 win, with Alex Vile hitting both for Pangbourne.

Cameron Fathers and Fin Goldsborough scored for Bardwell as they beat Hanney Youth 2-1. Harvey Bell replied.

Under 16 A League champions Carterton FC ended their season with a 1-1 draw with Cumnor Minors.

Ryan Holmes was on target for Carterton, with Adam Megarity replying.

Jake Calvert scored for Oxford City in their 1-1 draw with Banbury United Youth, whose goalscorer was Ben Morgan.

Dominic Allum scored both goals as Faringdon Town beat Bicester FC 2-1 in the B League.

Harrison Pearse replied.

Taylor Turton scored twice with another goal from Keane Males as Greater Leys beat Botley Boys 3-2. Karim Sizla and Kyle Oran netted for Botley.

Fred Kennedy, Josh Hedges and Bailey Dance were on target for Harwell & Hendred Youth as they beat Oxford City Nomads 3-1 in the Under 13 A League.

George Cox scored for Nomads.

Eddie Good hit the only goal as Didcot Town Youth Red beat Abingdon United 1-0.

Abingdon Green can still take the B League runners up spot following their 7-0 win over Oxford Blackbirds.

Gols from Sam Studd (2), Charlie Gibbard (2), Cayce Thornhill, Andrew King and Wave Chaiyabit leaves them needing to win their final game to take second.

Isaac Hollington (2) and Harry Warmington gave Didcot Casuals a 3-2 win over Horspath Youth.

Charlie Turner and Jonathan Muneyesa replied.

St Edmunds Royals beat sister team St Edmunds 3-0 in the C League with Matthew Dunn (2) and Will Durham on target.

Bailey Bone hit a hat-trick as Headington Youth Blades won the Under 15 A League title.

Connor Keen, Kai Sutherland and Godwin Nosakhare were also on target in a 6-1 victory over Harwell & Hendred.

Zac Skinner hit a consolation goal, but it could not stop Headington celebrating.

Rhys King, Francis Chikange, Tacai Grant & Jordan Axtell were on target as Garsington Youth saw off Florence Park 4-1 in the B League. Jeffrey Adjaottor replied.

Mukarram Hudda smashed a hat-trick for Summertown Eagles in a 6-4 victory over Crowmarsh Youth.

Daniel Owen (2) and Tommy Bleakley were also on target, with Oscar Taylor’s treble and strike from Matt Webber proving in vain.
