THREE young Oxfordshire players have been selected for the Southern England under 11 regional team.
Ten-year-olds Olivia Warburton and Ahriya Goins, who both play for Oxford Hoops and Oxfordshire under 11s, qualifed for the regional girls team after under going trials at Winchester.
Their county teammate Luther King (LK) Mahalingham, who plays for Abingdon Eagles, was selected in the ten-strong boys team.
Shiv Mahalingham, the Oxfordshire under 11coach, said: “Olivia, Ahriya and LK have made it because they impressed the judges with their fantastic attitude and hunger for the game.”
