SUPERB breaks from Karl Walker and Neil Craycraft helped Abingdon Conservative A beat their B team 4-0 in the final of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League’s Colin Cutler Memorial Trophy.
Walker had a run of 72 in his 2-0 victory over John Dawson, while Craycraft recorded a 74 when defeating Marsh Pratley.
There was a dramatic finish to the Buildbase Plate as Oracle A sneaked a 4-3 victory over Green Road B.
Green Road seemed set to win when leading 3-2, with Mick Aust ahead of Peter Machonochie in the sixth.
But the Oracle man gained the three snookers required to beat Aust 65-63, before Oracle’s Jamie Saczak sneaked past Ripon Masih 66-59 in the decider.
Walker and Mic Bennett beat Steve Blackman and Rory McIver 240-162 to win the Sherman Pairs.
