LIAM Godin scored four goals as KEA, from Bicester, stormed into the Oxfordshire Junior Shield final with a 5-0 victory over Carterton Town A.

The Banbury District & Lord Jersey FA side took the lead in the first 20 seconds through Wayne Blossom.

Godin completed his hat-trick in the first minute of the second half converting from the penalty spot and completed the scoring.

The week before, holders KEA reached the final of the Lord Jersey Cup the week, beating Bodicote Sports 6-1 with goals from Danny Hatfield (2), Daniel Sweeney (2) Godin and Blossom.

l MANAGERLESS Cropredy lost 4-2 at Marston Saints in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division.

After the sudden departure of long-term manager Simon Killen, Cropredy were 3-0 down at half-time to goals from Sam Bird, Ethan Carr and Ryan Jackson.

A brace from Aaron Dineen, including a strike from 25 yards – brought Cropredy right back into the game, but Bird’s second goal sealed Marston’s win.

l CHEQUERS cruised into the Oxford City FA’s Premier Cup final with a 6-2 victory away to Masons Arms.

Chequers took a 2-0 lead through Martino Ventriglia and Aaron Williams, but Mason Horwood pulled one back before half-time.

Horwood struck again to equalise, but Chequers raced home with efforts from Craig Dean (2), Gavin Williams, Aaron Williams (penalty) and Martino Ventriglia.

In the final they will meet Summertown AFC, who won 3-1 at Oxford Brookes University thanks to goals from Nikki Aitchison (2) and Alex Wong after Michael Andrews had put the students ahead.

In the Doug Hobbs Cup, Lusitanos Oxford won 4-2 at home to Union Street with strikes from Cesinha Bueno, Matheus Medeiros, substitute Helder Silva and Marcelo Guilherme.
