CARTERTON Town A booked their place in the semi-finals of the Witney & District League’s Senior Cup with a 3-2 win at Hailey, writes HARRY ROSE.

A brace from Olly Bush and a Mike Bolt penalty secured Carterton’s win, with Tom Gregory and Ford Davis on target for Hailey.

Combe also reached the last four with a 3-1 extra-time win at Chipping Norton Town.

Dan Bott netted for Chippy, but strikes from Matt Barker (2) and Charlie Ibbotson put Combe through.

Goals from Joey Burgess, Arron Hobley, Craig Johnson and Dan King saw Hanborough through with a 4-1 win at Kirtlington, who replied through Kaylum Patterson.

In the Supplementary Cup, Ryan Lewis’s four-timer helped Aston Res to a 5-0 win at FC Ascott Res, Aaron Robins netting No. 5.

Charlbury Town Res thrashed hosts Spartan Rangers A 6-1 as Damian Corbin hit a hat-trick. Further goals came from Bruce Claridge, Brennan Marles and Jack Mahoney, with Mev Gundem replying.

FC Ascott came from 2-0 down to beat Spartan Rangers Res 4-3 in the Junior Cup semi-finals.

Steve Harries (2), Tom Cairns and John Wood were on the mark for Ascott, while Nick Brown (2) and Matt Townsend were on target for Spartan.

Jack Scott netted his fourth treble of the season as Tower Hill eased past rivals Tower Hill Stars 6-0.

Luke James, Luke Bolley and James Scott also scored.

Jacob Hughes bagged a brace and Danny Brearley the third as FC Hollybush eased through with a 3-0 win at Stonesfield.

In Division 1, Aston moved up to third with a 4-1 win over struggling Milton.

Dan Moloney, Mike Hedges, Ryan Colleton and Vince Evans were on target for the home side, while Stephen Pearce netted for Milton.

In Division 2, Kingham All Blacks saw off hosts Witney Wanderers 4-0.

Sam Philpott led the way with a double, with Dom Hemmings and Ben Harris also on target.

Minster Lovell Res picked up their first win in ten games as they beat bottom side Bampton United Res 4-1.

Nick Rose bagged a hat-trick, with Luke Hessey also on target. Daniel Paintin replied.

In Division 4, Eynsham SSC Res pulled off a big shock as they beat high-flying FC Mills 2-1.

Lee Parsons and Ryan Stockford scored for Eynsham, with Danny Rayfield replying.
