TWO Jamie Cook penalties in the final eight minutes earned North Leigh a 2-1 win at Bishops Cleeve last night.

A goal from Jacob Davidge a minute before half-time looked like securing all three points for the hosts in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West clash.

Aaron Drake’s fine ball forward was picked up by Shane Bumphrey, who crossed for Davidge to slot home.

But eight minutes from time Cook levelled from the spot after the hosts were penalised for handball.

And in injury time the Millers were awarded another penalty after a trip and Cook sealed an unlikely victory.

NORTH Leigh’s opponents in the final of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup will be discovered next week.

Oxford United and Banbury United, whose scheduled match at Oxford City’s Court Place Farm ground was postponed last Wednesday, will meet on Tuesday, April 4 at the same venue (7.45pm).
