CITY of Oxford’s Ayanna Fulga, 12, won the prize as top girl in the Tiger Bay Long Course Meet at the Cardiff international Pool.

Oxford also took the top visiting club award as they won 29 golds, 31 silvers and 19 bronzes.

City’s Chris Currie, 22, won medals in all his multi-disability events with three golds in 50m and 400m freestyle and 50m backstroke, as well as two silvers in 100m and 200m freestyle.

Meanwhile, City of Oxford came third behind winners Bicester Bluefins in the second round of the Chiltern League at Bletchley.

There was praise for City’s Moses Baker who did not give up in his 50m freestyle race after losing his goggles at the start, and came second.
