Barton United went down to a narrow 5-4 defeat at home to Swindon Spitfires in the Under 15 League Cup Group A.

Georgia Moore, Amanda Osarobo, Tegan Partlett and Zeriah Sutton scored for United, but they were beaten thanks to Shannon King, Genevieve Sutton, Hannah Peachey, Lani Dickinson and Aimee Prinzi efforts.

Grove Challengers were heartbreakingly beaten 4-3 at Oxford City in the Under 13 Red League as they conceded an own goal in the last minute.

A Cara Kerby effort and an own goal put Grove firmly in charge early on, but City struck back with goals from Leanne Elias, Billie French and Lily Harries.

A second Kerby strike levelled the match, only for Harries’ late cross to be deflected into her own net by a Grove defender.

A treble apiece from Aisha Horbury and Natalia Sved helped Summertown Stars White to an 8-0 friendly victory over Benson United, with Leschea Guiste also scoring twice.
