ICE HOCKEY: Suspended Ben Paynter misses Oxford City Stars' match against Bracknell
OXFORD City Stars will be without the suspended Ben Paynter for their English National League South Division 1 match at home to Bracknell Hornets tomorrow (6.15).
Paynter has been given a three-match ban by the EIHA for his toughing penalty in last week’s tempestuous 5-3 victory at home to Invicta Dynamos.
Brendan Baird returns from illness to play against bottom club Bracknell.
Stars’ head coach Simon Anderson said: “I’m disappointed with the decision to ban Ben Paynter, but we accept it and move on.”
