BADMINTON: Young Benjamin Horseman wins bronze medal
THERE was a medal for Oxfordshire’s Benjamin Horseman in the under 13 gold tournament in Hatfield, Suffolk.
The Chesterton youngster claimed a bronze after losing in the semi-finals to Dillon Chong (Berkshire), who beat him in the final of the under 11 national championships in September.
The mixed doubles pair of Charlie Driver (Minster Lovell) and Maddy Cook (Eynsham) were runners-up in the Nottingham under 15 bronze tournament.
Driver also reached the semi-finals of the boys’ singles.
