SADIE Timbs notched an astounding double hat-trick to help Under 14 League leaders Abingdon Youth to an 11-1 away win over Tower Hill Vixens in the Oxford Mail Girls League.

There was also a treble for Jevon Brown and a goal each for Olivia Day and Shannon Saidler.

Sinead Newman scored the home side’s consolation.

Crowmarsh became the first side this season to take a point off Swindon Spitfires, holding the Under 15 League leaders to a 2-2 draw.

Shannon King scored twice for Spitfires, but they were denied victory by goals from Georgia Brown and Marita Clarke.

Under 13 Red League leaders Oxford City were 4-1 winners away to Summertown Stars White.

Courtney Cooke put City in front, but a Natalie Sved effort levelled the scores, before Shanice Wright’s second-half hat-trick won it in style.

Benson United went down 4-0 at home to Abingdon Youth in the Blue League.

After a goalless first half, Abingdon turned on the style with goals from Hannah Wernham (2), Madison Thomas and Michaela O’Hanlon.

Isabella Winnifrith and Ruby Frizzell struck twice each as Hinksey Park Lionesses won 5-2 at home to Quarry Rovers in the Under 12 Blue League.

Sarah Nassar also scored for Lionesses, while Keeley Spencer notched twice for Rovers.
