KIDLINGTON have bolstered their attacking options with the addition of Mark Janes from Banbury United and Ryan Brooks from Didcot Town.

While the unavailable Janes will not make his debut in tomorrow’s Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 Central clash at Kempston Rovers, manager Julian McCalmon believes the pair will be important signings.

“They’re brilliant additions to what we’re trying to build,” said McCalmon.

“They’ve come in to score goals, but also to give us other options.”

Lewis Coyle is absent and Ravi Shamsi, Charlie Wise (both ankle) and Ben Weedon (hamstring) are injured.

James McCarthy has departed for Hayes & Yeading United.

Tai Hulbert-Thomas misses Wantage Town’s trip to Barnstaple Town in Division 1 South & West with a hip injury picked up in last weekend’s 3-2 FA Trophy victory at Kidlington.

Midfielder James Glover is also a doubt after collecting a knee injury, while Adam Doyle (knee) and Elliott Powell (ankle) are also out.

Sam Brown returns from a hip injury, but Harry Halls is unavailable.

Winger Lewis Noble and midfielder Jack Kitchener have been called into the Didcot Town side for their trip to Winchester City tomorrow.

The Railwaymen are without the unavailable Alex Woodhouse, Oli Thomas and Taylor Janes, as well as Jack Longford with a knee injury.

Ryan Barney (knee) and Harry Beer (shin) are also injury doubts, while player-manager Andy Ballard completes his four-match suspension.
