EYNSHAM SSC suffered another weekend to forget as FC Hollybush subjected them to a second successive 9-0 defeat, writes HARRY ROSE.

Premier Division Eynsham were left stunned by their Division 1 visitors in the Witney & District FA’s Fred Ford Cup second-round clash.

Dan Bishop and Bradley Bryant each grabbed a hat-trick, Alan Rodgers netted a brace and Steve Holder was also on target.

In the Premier Division, Hanborough maintained their 100 per cent record with a 4-1 triumph at Charlbury Town.

Jack Morton hit his seventh goal of the season for the visitors,with Joey Burgess, Craig Johnson and Ian Steele also among the scorers.

Craig McCallum netted the consolation for Charlbury.

Carterton Town A got back to winning ways with a 5-2 victory at home to basement side Witney Royals.

Hardy Edwards and Sam Britnell scored for the visitors, but Tommy Burns, Dave Wanless, Steve Freeman, Olly Bush and Barry Bebenham won it for Carterton.

Chipping Norton Town moved up to third with a 3-2 win at Combe.

Kieran Watts bagged a brace and Joey Lee also scored for the away side, with Ethan Penney scoring twice in vain for Combe.

Kirtlington won 4-0 at home to Hailey, courtesy of a Shane Probitts double and goals from Sam Fowler and Joe Goodgame.

An Ian Sparkes brace helped Minster Lovell to their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw with Spartan Rangers.

Spartan replied with a Charlie Waite strike and a free-kick from David Cross.

Moreton Rangers are still waiting for their first point in Division 1 after going down 3-1 at Milton.

Jim Littlewood, Jon Chapman and James Beaney netted for the hosts, with James Larner replying.

New signing Matt Chadwick’s brace helped Chadlington to a 3-1 win at Ducklington.

Ashley Hughes was also on target for the visitors, with Callum Mutch replying for winless Ducklington.

Tower Hill joined local rivals Tower Hill Stars at the top of Division 2 with a 7-0 thrashing of visitors Brize Norton.

Jack Scott hit a hat-trick, Luke Bolley struck twice and there were also goals from James Scott and Adam Bolley.
