KIDLINGTON Green Social Club B took a giant step towards winning the Greene King ODDA Summer League Premier title with a 7-2 victory at home to Peachcroft Social Club.
Singles wins from Terry Wood, Neil Russell, Dave Fowler and Sean Holly gave Kidlington a 4-2 lead.
Peachcroft replied through the in-form Jason Turner, who hit two 180s, and Michael Wilkes, before the hosts won the pairs 3-0.
Challow British Legion’s title bid lost ground with a narrow 5-4 win at Section 1 side Corner House A.
Democrats Social Club lead Section 2 after a 5-4 win over the visiting George Bar A.
Playing the pairs first, Democrats raced into a 3-0 lead, but the George hit back and it needed Simon Tricker’s victory against Mark Laverack to see Demos over the line.
George Bar D clinched the Section 6 title with a 6-3 win over Corner House B.
Corner House are the Women’s Premier League champions for the first time since the 2013 Summer League after a 9-0 win over Blackbird Bar.
Their singles winners were Hazel Prowton, Carol Smith, Denise Pape, Megan Curtis and Paulette Guy, while Katrina Blackman and Kim Mercer-Rolls joined them in the pairs to record their eleventh win.

Aaron Presley and new recruit Lennon Cradock both won 3-0.

The girls lost 2-1, with Savannah Romero their only winner
The under 21 side sealed a 5-0 win.
Captain Robert Adnams (18.33 average) started things off with 3-0 victory, with Ashley Presley hitting seven ton-plus scores and a 180 in his 3-0 success with an average of 20.31.
Man-of-the-match Chris Howse won 3-2 also hit seven ton-plus and a 180 and in his win with an average of 22.45.
Andy Jones and Dan Kirton were the other winners.
