THREE young City of Oxford members are this week attending a national junior training camp aimed at potential future Olympians.

David Murphy, 17, and 15-year-olds Connor Bryan and Callum Smart are among 80 junior swimmers from England, Scotland and Wales at the Aberdeen Sports Village, where they are working with some of the country’s leading coaches and support staff.

British Swimming’s head of performance pathway Tim Jones said: “At the start of the Tokyo cycle it is a great opportunity to be as inclusive as possible with a group of athletes, who potentially see the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games as longer-term goals.”
