EDDIE Odhiambo and Conor McDonagh have left Oxford City ahead of this evening’s home clash with Vanarama National League South leaders Maidenhead United.

The signings of Josh Ashby, James Roberts and Jonny Giles on loan from neighbours Oxford United, as well as striker Mike Fondop, have left playing opportunities limited.

And general manager Justin Merritt believes both would be better off looking elsewhere.

He said: “They’re both good lads, but we can’t give them the minutes they would want.

“The new signings we’ve made mean they just won’t get the opportunities.”

However, Roberts will play no part tonight as he starts a three-match suspension after being sent off in last week’s 3-1 win at Bath City.

And City are still without the injured Lee Henderson (broken finger) and Shaun MacAuley (hamstring).
