MIKE Jennings, president of Bowls England, hosted a game against Disability Bowls England at Didcot Bowls Club on Sunday.

Jennings, who started bowling at Didcot in the 1970s, nominated Disability Bowls England as his charity for the year.

The team of disabled bowlers took on rinks from local clubs, including Didcot, Hagbourne, Wantage, Suttons and Morlands.

The disability team, some of whom had competed in the Commonwealth Games, showed their class to secure victory.
