CITY of Oxford members enjoyed a gold rush on two fronts with success at both the Hatfield Golden Jubilee Level 2 Meet and the Maxwell Level 3 June Meet in Aylesbury.

Emily Ford led the way with five first places at Hatfield winning the 13-14-year-old 50m, 100m & 200m backstroke as well as the 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle.

Tasha Fenton added four golds in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke and 200m IM.

Delphine Little was victorious in the 100m and 200m butterfly, and picked up silver in the 200IM and 100m freestyle, as well as bronze in the 50m butterfly, backstroke and freestyle events.

Megan Smit added to the haul in the 200m freestyle, and then took silver in the 200m backstroke and bronze in the 400m freestyle.

Billy Wotton landed golds in the 200m IM and 200m breaststroke, with silvers in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke.

Daniel McNamara took gold in the 200m backstroke, silver in the 200m butterfly and bronzes in the 200m IM and 100m butterfly.

Evie McLean was in sparkling form in the 11-12 year old category at Hatfield, taking a clean sweep of golds in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke.

She added two silvers (50m backstroke and 100m freestyle) and two bronzes (200m backstroke and 400m freestyle) to complete a superb event.

In the 15+ category, Kate Mills won two golds (50m and 100m butterfly), a silver (100m IM) and a bronze (200m butterfly).

Emily Wood also took two golds (100m and 200m breaststroke) and a silver (400m IM).

Ellie Millington won gold in the 200m backstroke, and scooped silvers in the 50m and 100m freestyle as well as the 50m backstroke.

Emily Nisbet won the 200m butterfly and picked up bronzes in the 200m freestyle and 400m IM.

In the men’s events, David Murphy took gold in the 100m breaststroke with Callum Smart victorious in the 50m breaststroke.

OTHER MEDAL WINNERS

Men’s: Connor Bryan (bronze, 50m breaststroke), Lewis Gilchrist (bronze, 200m backstroke).

15+ age group: Maia Little (silver, 50m breaststroke & bronze, 200m breaststroke).

13-14 age group: George Rudd (silver, 400 IM; bronzes, 400m freestyle & 200m backstroke), Mimi Morley Iszatt (silver, 50m backstroke & bronze, 100m backstroke), Tiana Porter (bronzes, 100m IM & 100m butterfly) & Erin Gilchrist (bronze, 200m backstroke).

Meanwhile, at the Maxwell meeting, City of Oxford took the top club award.

Amongst the many medal winners were 15-year-old Max Underwood, who scooped six gold and two silvers, while nine-year-old Juliet Antony went away with four golds, three silvers and a bronze.

Ten-year-olds: Lily Brabbin (3 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze.

11-year-olds: Gretel Goodgame (4 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze).

13-year-olds: Cathryn Peake (4 gold, 2 silver).

14-year-olds: Ewan McBain (3 gold, 2 silver, 4 bronze), Freddie Wilkinson (3 gold, 1 silver), Gabriel Agostini (2 gold, 5 silver).

15-year-olds: Dotty Goodgame (3 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze); Henry Barlow (3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze); Dominic Mills (1 gold, 5 silver, 1 bronze).
