BANBURY skipper Lloyd Sabin believes his side still have more to come, despite sitting top of the Division 1 table with five wins from five.

Banbury travel to Oxfordshire rivals Great & Little Tew tomorrow looking to maintain their perfect record in the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League.

And while Sabin is delighted with results, he feels there are still elements of the game his side can improve on.

“Results-wise we are flying,” he said. “But I still feel we have not reached our peak.

“We have not played a perfect match – when we have bowled really well we maybe haven’t batted as well as we can, and vice versa.

“But I can’t complain as we are getting the results and are top with five from five.”

Richard West is missing and is replaced by Hugo Darby.

“A lot of us know many of the Tew team from our involvement with the county side,” Sabin added.

“They have some very good players and have done really well to get into Division 1 for the first time.

“We have got to be at our best, we know that.”

Tew go into the match on the back of a disastrous defeat against Finchampstead last week.

The west Oxfordshire side were shot out for just 41 and looking to bounce back and inflict Banbury’s first defeat of the season.

Harry Smith comes in for Robbie Catling.
