IAN Higgins was a narrow winner of North Oxford AS’s fifth Summer Canal Series match held on the Oxford Canal at Elizabeth Jennings Way, where 20 fished.
Higgins led the field with 6lb 1oz of skimmers on bread and worm.
A close second, using the same tactics, was Dave Pether, who had 5.12.0 of skimmers. Dave Britnell was third with 4.6.8 of bread caught roach.
