RICHARD Bloomer and Destin Maulding scored two touchdowns apiece as Oxford Saints steamrollered Jurassic Coast Raptors to continue their perfect start to the season.

The 51-0 away romp was Saints’ fourth victory in a row to send them clear at the top of Division 2 Southern Football Conference West.

New boys Raptors looked outgunned from the start, with Saints able to field a squad more than twice the size of their hosts.

It was not long before Saints took charge and they finished the first quarter 14-0, up thanks to scores from James Walter and Bloomer.

Sam Fielden kicked the extra points and added a field goal early in the second quarter.

Maulding’s touchdowns sandwiched Grant Tebb’s 45-yard return during a one-sided spell.

With Fielden on target with a hat-trick of successful kicks, Saints went in at half-time 38-0 up.

The size of the lead triggered a ‘running clock’, which meant normal stoppages were not observed.

It is designed to limit teams being overpowered, but Saints still found time to score through Antonios Athanasiou and Bloomer.

Next up is a trip to Swindon Storm on June 12.
