NATHAN Harrison enjoyed a superb start to his Mini Challenge campaign, winning on the opening round of the season.
The Oxford racer triumphed in the final race, leaving him joint top of the standings ahead of Brands Hatch next weekend.
Things started well for Harrison when he qualified quickest for the first race.
A poor start saw him slip down the field, but he fought back well to finish second to Charlie Butler-Henderson.
The second race was abandoned after required emergency services were forced to attend a bad crash, but with nobody seriously injured, the third race went ahead as planned.
And it proved a great one for Harrison.
From second on the grid, a fast start saw him overtake Butler-Henderson on the outside, and hold on to his advantage to record an impressive six-second success.
