Craig Mace held his nerve to give himself and partner Keith Hollis a 210-199 victory over Karl Walker and Mick Bennett in the final of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League’s Sherman Pairs.
After losing the first two frames, Mace and Hollis responded brilliantly to take a big lead in the final frame.
Needing to pot the final pink and black to secure victory, Mace showed nerves of steel to sink both and snatch the title.
