Carterton Town A demolished hosts Bodicote Sports 12-1 in the fourth round of the Oxfordshire John Fathers Junior Shield to secure their place in the quarter-finals.

Jack Morton led the scoring with a five-goal haul and Jason Lonsdale picked up a hat-trick, while Jack Lonsdale, Kevin Rookes and Mike Bolt also contributed to the scoreline alongside an own goal.

Harry Thompson bagged a brace to help Spartan Rangers to a 6-3 win at Chasewell Park.

Frank Clarke, Josh Grant, Jamie Timms and Charlie Waite were also on the mark, with Ben Devonish, Michael Harding and Ryan Evetts netting in vain for Park.

l ADDERBURY Park advanced to the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Charity Cup with a 4-0 home victory over Chipping Norton Town – but they needed extra time to achieve it.

When Josh Reilly opened the scoring early in extra time the floodgates opened.

An own goal, a Dave Rose strike and a headed effort from Luke Winkworth sealed the victory.

Graham Hall was on target for Watlington Town in their 4-1 defeat by Garsington.

NOLAN Ashford scored twice as Oxford University Press Res won 4-1 away to Marston Res in Oxfordshire Senior League Division 1.
OUP’s other goals came from Callum Tighe and Danny Clarke, while Jake Cooper netted late on for Marston when he followed up OUP keeper Dan Savins’s excellent penalty save.
