Three minutes of madness cost Oxford all three points as they went down 5-4 at home to Maidenhead in Men’s South League Regional 1.

A Dan Bleach hat-trick and Matt McKeown short corner had given Oxford a 4-3 lead in the dying moments.

However, errors proved costly as Maidenhead snatched a dramatic win.

Oxford 2nd went down 2-1 at Newbury & Thatcham, despite a goal from Connor Savage.

Oxford Hawks had to settle for a 0-0 draw away to relegation-threatened Lewes in Premier Division 1.

Goals from Mark Crowley, James Cunningham and Matt Wood gave Oxford Hawks 2nd a 3-1 win at home to Eastbourne 2nd in Premier Division 2.

Bicester came from behind to inflict only a second defeat on Tring in 50 games with a 3-2 win.

Callum White put Bicester ahead. Tring equalised through a penalty and had another controversially disallowed.

After Tring took the lead, White equalised, before Dave Sutcliffe netted Bicester’s winner.

Witney, chasing promotion in Middlesex Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1, salvaged a 3-3 draw with a late goal at Sonning 2nd.

The visitors earned a 2-1 interval lead thanks to Andy Gosnell and a penalty flick from Scott Beach, following a foul on Jacob Deacon.

Sonning scored two quick goals in the second half, but Harry Harbage deflected in Rory Heaslip’s shot late on to rescue Witney a point.
